Nerves & Anxiety: Queuing into Hero League in 2018

Since getting back from the holidays I’ve been putting a big push into streaming nearly every night. Since then, an odd thing has happened to me with Hero League. I. Just. Don’t. Care. Anymore. It’s not what you think! Let me explain what I mean after the jump.

If you missed the first part of this series from awhile ago I encourage you to read it. Its got some great advice if you’ve been thinking about entering Hero League but essentially, you’ll need to cast off your fear you’ve been simmering inside of you and just DO IT. Click the button and queue. It sounds dumb but that’s what I did and I couldn’t be happier.

Team League 2018 Season 1

I’ve been streaming on Twitch nearly every night since I got home from the holidays. There I’ve found myself going into Team League more and more with my friends. Our ranking sucks, we often get bad games and occasionally I’ll even get tilted but I’m glad I’m there. Why? Because I’m doing it. Finally, I’m doing it and that’s what matters to me.

Just like how I started this site I’m done with saying no and thinking up of reasons for why I shouldn’t do something. Striving to meet your goals is the best way to achieve them. That seems like something we all should know but realizing it myself was what made it real. With that, my obvious conclusion was just to play Hero League so that’s what I’ve done. Who knew I’d actually keep a New Years resolution huh?
